A PERSPECTIVE ON LEADERSHIP
I’m Adam Fisher, a product design executive. I bring a systems view, a player-coach mindset, and nearly 30 years of experience turning complex challenges into human experiences.
How I leadADAM T. FISHER SEATTLE METROPOLITAN AREA
I create the vision, architect the flows, build the organization and stay involved until the experience is implemented, tested, and released.
ADAM T. FISHER / PRODUCT DESIGN EXECUTIVEConnect the customer journey, product architecture and business context in one shared experience vision.
Establish clear standards, mentorship and creative space. Develop the design organization alongside its product responsibilities.
Partner across design, product, engineering and QA. Keep decisions connected from requirements through implementation, testing and release.
Work at the level the problem needs: product strategy, information architecture, interaction flows, prototypes or a critical interface detail.
My role has always been to see the bigger picture, set a direction and understand how to bring different capabilities together. Working with AI draws on that same leadership practice.
I approach AI as a creative collaborator: give it context, explore possibilities, challenge the output and refine the work. It helps me move faster from an idea to something tangible, with more room to experiment along the way.
The tools are evolving. My responsibility remains: know what matters, recognize good work and stay accountable for the experience people ultimately use. AI expands the craft; human judgment leads.
Research shapes the strategy. Strategy guides the design. Testing helps carry the intent into production.
“Guard rails,
not limitations.”
PRINCIPLES I BRING TO THE WORK
Across products, teams, and organizations, these principles guide how I approach the work.
Ask before assuming. Understand the people, the context, and the need behind the request.
Make complexity understandable. Give people a clear path without stripping away what matters.
Use plain, personal language. Make the next step understandable and the experience approachable.
Respect different needs and situations. Give people meaningful choices and room to make an experience their own.
Make the idea tangible. Use flows, prototypes, and visual stories to help people see, question, and improve it.
Stay open to what the work reveals. Explore, test, and refine rather than treating the first answer as the final one.
SEVEN PRINCIPLES. ONE CONNECTED EXPERIENCE.
A shared set of experience principles I bring across the work.
Responsive design. Touch-centric experiences. Full-bleed imagery. Longform pages.
Socialization. Personalization. Customization.
Digital storytelling. Information-driven design.
Plain, simple, and personal language.
Contextual relevance.
Clean design. Large text. Simple navigation. Content grouping.
Engage. Educate. Entertain.
“Where things are the same, they should be the same.Where they’re different, they should be different.”
HOW THE PRINCIPLES BECOME PRACTICE
Create guardrails that help people make good decisions, while leaving room for judgment, creativity, and the needs of the problem.
Connect the big picture to the details. Make the work tangible, learn from it, and refine the experience as understanding grows.
Establish a useful foundation, build confidence, and expand deliberately. Let the context determine the pace.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PERSPECTIVE
Curiosity doesn’t stop at the edge of the work.
I’m drawn to exploring, looking closer, and seeing familiar things from a different perspective. It’s the same openness I bring to a new challenge: stay curious, question assumptions, and make room for what you haven’t discovered yet.
